Playlists that are stored on a music resource that can be accessed by devil Streaming (USB, network drive) are displayed in the devil Raumfeld App under the menu item "Playlists → imported playlists". The music resource should be connected to the host via USB or set up as a network drive (SMB) so that playlists can be displayed.
Playlists from media server connections are not supported.
Playlists in the following formats are required:
- Windows playlists (*.wpl)
- M3U playlists (*.m3u)
- PLS playlists (*.pls).
To have your playlists displayed, simply save them to a USB storage device or network storage (e.g. NAS).
Note: iTunes playlists (iTunes Music Library.xml) can unfortunately no longer be used from the operating system Mac OS Catalina onwards, as the iTunes application has been removed by Apple.
