ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE: System no longer responds while the display shows an update message

Note: Only carry out the following steps if the firmware is older than version v1.0.6.

Error description:

The ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE does not respond to any inputs, is "frozen" and the display says, "Update, please connect to PC". The device can no longer be operated and nothing happens when a PC is connected.

Solution: Install the update manually

Step-by-step instructions:

1. First download the following zip file → Update file
2. Unzip the file and note the location.
3. Connect the ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE to a PC using a USB-C data cable. A drive with the name "devil" appears in the file explorer
4. Move or copy the previously unzipped file "ultima25A_app_v1_0_6_update_image.bin" to this drive. The process may take a few seconds.
5. The update is automatically recognized and carried out. As soon as the message to press the "Select button for restart" appears on the display, the update can be terminated by pressing the button on the remote control,
6. The system restarts and is then ready for operation again.

How do I check the firmware version of the ULTIMA 25 ACTIVE?

You can check the software version via the ULTIMA 25 ACTIVEmenu.
Proceed as follows:

Menu path: System → Software → Version.

The software version is now displayed.
