Why does devil also offer products with USB-C charging ports without chargers included?

The universal USB-C interface makes it possible to use existing chargers for newly purchased devices with USB-C charging ports, regardless of manufacturer and product. As most households already have several USB power adapters, we can avoid electronic waste in the future by not including chargers that are not necessary. If you need a new or additional charger, you can of course also order it from the devil webshop.

Is a USB-C charger with a high wattage good?

High wattage chargers usually charge devices faster than low wattage chargers.

Can a USB-C charger be too powerful?

No, the connected product automatically draws the power it needs for charging / operation. You can therefore use a 60-watt charger even if your device requires less wattage. However, a charger with less power may charge the batteries more slowly, especially if the product is in use at the same time.

Does it damage the battery if I charge and play music at the same time?

It is generally possible to charge your headphones/portables and use them at the same time, for example to play music. Please note the following information:

• Overheating: If you use your headphones/portables intensively during the charging process, they may become warmer than usual. High temperatures can shorten the lifespan of the battery.
• Slower charging: Charging speed may decrease as some of the energy is used to power the device.
• Battery ageing: Frequent simultaneous charging and use can cause the battery to age more quickly as it goes through more charging cycles.

Tip: To maximize the life of your battery, it is best to use devices as little as possible while charging. However, if you occasionally listen to music while charging, this is possible.

What happens if you leave the product connected to the charger permanently?

The battery will not break as the charging process is automatically interrupted when the battery is full. However, the battery ages more quickly and loses its service life as it is constantly being recharged. We therefore recommend disconnecting the charger as soon as the battery is full.

How can I charge my headphones/portables faster when I am in a hurry?

• Switch off your headphones / portables when charging.
• Use USB-C chargers with higher power.
• Keep your headphones/portables cool when charging, for example on a windowsill.
