RADIO 3SIXTY: Interrupted streaming

The cause may be competing WIFI networks, i.e., there are so many WIFI networks in your area (and often in the 2.4 GHz range) that they may "interfere" with each other. The solution may be to switch to the 5 GHz band, i.e., use the RADIO 3SIXTY in the 5 GHz band.

Possible solutions:

If the router/modem allows it, set it to 5-GHz WIFI with its own name (SSID) and then set the RADIO 3SIXTY to the "new" 5-GHz WIFI network. Your smartphone or tablet with the remote control app must also be connected to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.

If the router does not allow WIFI separation, turn off the 2.4 GHz WIFI. Please note that your other wireless devices will then also be connected to the new 5 GHz network. Turning off the 2.4 GHz WIFI usually reduces the load on the router significantly (depending on the environment).

If the router only offers 2.4 GHz WIFI, you can also use devices on the 2.4 GHz WIFI via the main router and use an additional access point (separate hardware). This access point is then configured exclusively for 5 GHz WIFI and is given its own SSID. The RADIO 3SIXTY and your device with the remote app are set to the new 5 GHz WIFI. You can of course connect other network devices to the 5 GHz WIFI and share the network load between the router and the access point.

Please note that the 5 GHz network usually does not have the range of the 2.4 GHz network. On the other hand, the connection via 5 GHz is faster, offers more bandwidth, and is less susceptible to interference.

Problems with the WIFI installation?

Both devices (radio and smartphone/tablet) must be in the same frequency band of the WIFI router! A mix of 2.4 GHz on one device and 5 GHz on the other will definitely not work, as the devices will not find each other.
