How can I listen to the sound of YouTube videos on devil Streaming/Raumfeld speakers?

For the playback of the audio signal of YouTube videos, the following options are available depending on the devices and players used:

For all feed players such as smartphone, tablet, desktop PC in conjunction with devil streaming devices. (recommended)

Connect to a devil streaming device via Bluetooth and then play a YouTube video. If the Bluetooth connection is active, the sound output will now be on the devil streaming device.

For all players such as smartphone, tablet, desktop PC

If necessary, stop active playback on your devil Streaming/Raumfeld player and connect the audio output of your external player (e.g. headphone jack) via audio cable to the line in of any Raumfeld/devil Streaming device* and output the YouTube sound.

For Android devices in combination with Raumfeld devices with Chromecast built-in.

First, download the Google Home app on your Android device and set up a Raumfeld device with Chromecast built-in as a Chromecast device via Google Home app.

From the home screen, select "Account" (bar at the bottom) followed by "Mirror device" (under other options). There, select the desired device or group - confirmation of the connection will appear.

Note: Before using it for the first time, please open the devil Raumfeld App and activate Chromecast once (menu path: main menu > Chromecast; only appears if a supporting device is available).

Now switch to the YouTube app and play any video. The audio signal will now be output to the Raumfeld speaker.

Note: This option requires that the player and Raumfeld device are logged into the same network.

For Windows computers in connection with Raumfeld devices with Chromecast built-in.

Install the Chrome browser on your Windows computer. In the Chrome browser, open the "More" menu (top right corner, 3-dot icon) and select the "Stream..." option here. Windows will now automatically search for all devices with Chromecast support in the WLAN. Now select your Raumfeld device from the list. The sound playback of content played in the Chrome browser now takes place on the Raumfeld device

Note: This option requires that the player and Raumfeld device are registered in the same WLAN.
