devil Home App: Setting Up a devil Home Product (MOTIV HOME, STEREO M 2 / L 2)

Note: Product-specific settings/features such as channel assignment for STEREO M 2 / L2 or the display of battery status (MOTIV®HOME, MOTIV® XL) are not covered here and can be found in the respective product manuals.

To set up a product from the devil Home series (MOTIV® HOME, MOTIV® XL, STEREO M2 / STEREO L2), follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network where the devil Home product is to be integrated and download the devil Home App to your smartphone
2. Press the setup button on the back of the speaker
3. Open or switch to the devil Home App and select the "Add Product" button. (If a device has already been set up, it will be displayed under "My Products"
   
   
4. The app will automatically search for compatible products until they are found and displayed. Then tap the "Set Up Now" button
   
   
5. Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the Wi-Fi password, and click "Connect"
   
6. After connecting the product, it will search for and install available updates. Then tap the "Get Started" button and in the next step "Personalize"
7. You can now give the product a custom name or choose a name from the list. Then tap "Next"
   
8. In the next step, you can activate "Google Cast" (formerly Chromecast) or skip this step (Activation can also be done later at any time)
9. The product is now ready to play. By tapping "Select Your Sound," it will be selected as the playback device.
