What is the difference between BOOMSTER 4 and the predecessor BOOMSTER (sold from October 2021)?
Some of the most important changes in the new devil BOOMSTER 4 compared to the predecessor model BOOMSTER (sold from October 2021)
- New: Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX, aptX HD and AAC
- New: Improved battery life of up to 23 hours
- New: LED display with brightness adjustment
- New: More volume steps on the device/remote control (32 instead of 16), 6 instead of 3 preset station buttons
- New: Available not only in the color "Night Black" but also in "Moon Gray" and "Mint Green"
How do I reset the BOOMSTER to factory settings?
To reset all values to factory settings (devil BOOMSTER reset), press and hold the power button (1) and the BASS button (2) together on the BOOMSTER for 8 seconds. This will delete all Bluetooth device lists and saved parameters.
Why does my BOOMSTER not start after being in standby for a long time?
Note on battery deep discharge protection (Deep-Sleep)
The BOOMSTER has a deep discharge protection for its integrated battery, the so-called Deep-Sleep mode. If the BOOMSTER is not connected to the power supply, the device switches to this Deep-Sleep mode after about 10 hours.
You can turn your BOOMSTER on from this Deep-Sleep mode by pressing the power button for about 8 seconds. In this case, you press longer than with a "normal" startup.
Note: Starting from Deep-Sleep mode via remote control is not possible.
Which sources can the BOOMSTER play?
The device is suitable for receiving radio stations via FM, digital radio via DAB+, and for receiving audio signals via Bluetooth. Additionally, there is an AUX input located on the left under the rubber cover (1)
I listen to radio via FM - but the reception is noisy?
Possible cause: Reception signal too weak.
Solution: Fully extend the telescopic antenna. Change the antenna orientation. Place the BOOMSTER in a different location. Connecting an external antenna is not possible.

How do I initiate a new station search for available DAB+ stations?
BOOMSTER: Hold down the forward button in DAB mode to initiate a new scan.
BOOMSTER 4: Press and hold the Source button (7) in DAB mode for about 4 seconds to initiate a new scan.
The display will now show ''SCAN'' and the number of found stations. The search for new DAB+ stations is carried out. Once the search is complete, you will receive all available DAB+ stations.
How do I connect two BOOMSTER speakers together?
Note: The BOOMSTER 4 cannot be connected with the previous BOOMSTER (sold from October 2021).
BOOMSTER (sold from October 2021)
The BOOMSTER offers the TWS function, which allows the sound to be played simultaneously from two BOOMSTER speakers.
- Connect your source device to the first BOOMSTER.

To activate TWS pairing mode, press the Bluetooth button (3) and the + button (at 8) simultaneously on one of the devices.
- Press the Bluetooth button (3) and the + button (at 8) simultaneously on the other BOOMSTER.
- After successful pairing, the message "TWS pairing" appears on the display.
To switch between two speakers, press the Bluetooth button (3) and the favorite button 1/3 (7) simultaneously.

- Connect your external audio source via Bluetooth® or USB to the first speaker.
- Press and hold the button combination Bluetooth(6) and Play/Pause (9) on the first speaker for 4 seconds. "TWS" will be displayed.

- Press and hold the button combination Bluetooth(6) and Play/Pause (9) on the second speaker for 4 seconds. "TWS" will be displayed on the display (16).
- When the connection is established, "LEFT" will be shown on the first speaker’s display and "RIGHT" on the second speaker’s display.
If you want to switch the stereo channel between L / R, press and hold the button combination (6) | / (11) on the speaker for 1.5 seconds to switch the stereo channel. The display will then show "LEFT" / "RIGHT" accordingly.

Is the BOOMSTER protected against water ingress?
Yes, the BOOMSTER is protected against water jets from all directions according to IPX5. It is not protected against submersion but can withstand water jets from garden hoses or similar.
