Passive subwoofer
Passive subwoofers do not have an integrated output stage (amplifier module) and are dependent on the power of the AV receiver. Nowadays, passive external bass speakers are usually found in older systems and are connected to the corresponding channel on the amplifier via speaker cables. However, modern AV receivers no longer offer connections for passive subwoofers.

Depending on the equipment, subwoofers can also be connected wirelessly, provided a corresponding receiver module has been installed and the AV receiver used can also transmit this wirelessly. You can find an overview of our wireless subwoofers here
