AV receiver settings
Almost every current AV receiver has an automatic calibration feature in order to adapt the speakers to the conditions of the room the speakers are in. AV receivers also offer a wide range of options for customizing the sound.
If you wish, you can also take your individual listening habits into account after the standard setup has been completed. Take your favorite film and change the settings on the receiver:
- the settings for the level of the individual speakers (more or less volume on the center speaker, the rear surround speakers, etc. depending on your preference)
- the delay of the sound signals to compensate for special room features
- change the phase/bass level or the position of the subwoofer
Are the speakers and the AV receiver compatible?
You can find more information on this under What goes where?
The continuous power handling capacity (RMS/sine power in watts) of the speakers should roughly correspond to the output power of the amplifier.
You can find information on the continuous power handling of your speakers and what your amplifier can handle on the respective product page or in the operating instructions.
If the amplifier power is too high or too low, this can damage the drivers. Such damage is not covered by the warranty. If you are unsure, please contact us. Contact us
