What does TWS stand for?

TWS stands for True Wireless Stereo, meaning the headphones are not connected to each other with a wire.

How do I connect the headphones using Bluetooth?

  1. When you open the charging case for the first time, pairing via the headphones starts automatically. Leave the earphones in the charging case with the lid open.
  2. Activate the Bluetooth search (pairing) on your smartphone and pair with the Bluetooth device devil AIRY TWS 2.

Switch off

As soon as you insert the earphones into the charging case and close the charging box, the headphones are switched off and charged.

When the charging case is opened, the earbuds switch on again and automatically try to connect to the last connected Bluetooth device. If none of the previously paired devices are available within 60 seconds, the AIRY TWS 2 switch to pairing mode.

Re-pairing with another smartphone or other device: 

  1. Place both headphones in the charging case, but leave the lid open. The lid of the case must not be closed, otherwise pairing will not work properly.
  2. Make sure that your smartphone is not currently connected to another device and activate the device search via Bluetooth (pairing) on your smartphone.
  3. Now press the button on the underside of the AIRY TWS 2 charging case for approx. 1.5 seconds until the LED flashes blue twice. Important to know: Pairing is not canceled even if the LED only flashes twice.

 


4. Pair the two devices by tapping the "devil AIRY TWS 2" display on the smartphone.

AIRY TWS 2 won't turn on

  • Check whether you have followed the instructions in the Quickstart Guide.
  • Possible cause: Batteries empty
    Solution: Check whether the charging case is charged and, if necessary, connect it to a power supply with the charging cable for charging. Place the earbuds in the charging case to start the charging process.
  • Possible cause II: Earbuds in standby mode
    Solution: Take the earbuds out of standby mode by tapping on their multifunctional areas (logo).

AIRY TWS 2 earbuds won't connect

  • Check whether you have followed the instructions in the Quickstart Guide.
  • Go through the following points on your smartphone:
    1. Switch the Bluetooth function off and on again.
    2. Delete the "devil AIRY TWS 2" entry from the Bluetooth list on the mobile device.
    3. Move the mobile device closer to the headphones and away from interference or obstacles.
    4. Connect another mobile device as a test.
  • On the earphones: Delete the Bluetooth list:
    • Insert the earbuds into the charging case and leave the lid open.
    • Press the L and R multifunction areas (logo) 5 times

Check the charging status of the charging case

After you have pressed the button on the underside of the charging case, the LED power indicators light up according to the battery level as follows

Red: battery level is below 20%

Orange: battery level is between 21% and 45%

Yellow: battery level is between 46% and 70%

Green: battery level is above 71%

Headphones won't charge

  • Check whether the headphones are correctly seated in the charging box.
  • Check the charge level of the charging case. If power level is low, plug into a power source.
  • Clean the charging contacts in the charging case and on the headphones.
  • If your headphones have been exposed to high or low temperatures, let them cool down to room temperature and then try charging them again.

One earphone is quieter than the other

Check whether the earphone of the quieter headphones may be dirty and clean it if necessary.
To do this, remove the earphone from the headphones and clean it with a mild detergent
and water. Make sure that you rinse and dry the earpiece thoroughly before reattaching it to the headphones.

How do I pair a replacement earbud?

  1. Check that no Bluetooth connection (to the AIRY TWS 2) is currently activated on your smartphone. If in doubt, switch Bluetooth off briefly.
  2. Place the existing and replacement earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open.
  3. The replacement headphones are paired by briefly tapping the pairing button at the bottom of the charging case twice and then pressing and holding the button until the LED lights up purple.
  4. Then close the case and switch on Bluetooth on the source device (e.g. smartphone)
  5. Open the case, search for the headphones in the Bluetooth settings on the source device and connect them.
  6. The product can now be used as normal.
