All devil Home Series products incorporate the Google Cast protocol (formerly Chromecast), which can be configured for multiroom systems to allow the same content to stream to multiple speakers at the same time. The use of AirPlay means that you are no longer bound to one manufacturer, and can create multiroom systems using any speakers that support Google Cast
In order to setup a Google Cast multiroom system for simultaneous playback, you will have to group the speakers you plan to link together in the Google Home App. This group can then play audio from all Google Cast-enabled apps such as Spotify.
