Important notice: new labeling requirement when sending products that contain batteries.
You might be an expert at ordering online, but have you ever come across this symbol before and do you know what it means?
Background:
Due to new guidelines of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), those of our products that are operated wholly or partially with a rechargeable battery/rechargeable battery is only permitted by law for commercial transport under certain conditions and are subject to precise labelling requirements, as the risk for these products is higher during transport.
Therefore, please note when shipping:
In the event of a return (return, exchange, repair) of one of the products listed below (pictured below) or the individual battery removed from it, please attach the corresponding identification label clearly visible on the outer packaging.
This does not apply to remote controls powered by button cell batteries. In case of doubt, please always contact our customer service (link provided).
Damaged products/batteries:
Please note that damaged lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries should not be returned to us by shipping service provider at all.
For safety reasons, please dispose of such batteries exclusively via local hazardous materials collection points. This is free of charge for you. In this case, if possible, remove the damaged battery from the product and return the product to us without the battery. If removal of the damaged battery is not possible, or the product to be returned is the damaged battery itself, contact our customer service in any case and wait for further instructions. In the case of arranged disposal of the entire product, we reserve the right to request proof of disposal of the product. Please make sure that you are given a corresponding proof by the hazardous materials collection point.
Packaging:
If possible, use the original devil packaging and simply check that the required label is visibly present on the outside of the packaging. If this is the case, the requirements for labeling and packaging have already been met, so you do not need to do anything else.
If the original packaging is damaged, please use new packaging and make sure that the packaging is strong and stable and contains all the necessary marking labels provided below.
Also, to prevent the product from moving back and forth during the delivery or being accidentally switched on, place the product as upright and central as possible in the packaging and use suitable filling material.
It is best to use the filling material, if any, contained in the original package or, for example, newsprint to fill in the free spaces. If you are returning several such products containing dangerous goods, please make sure that you return them individually, not together in one package, in order to comply with legal requirements.

Attention: If you are using the original packaging for the return, simply check that the required label is already visible on the packaging. If this is the case, the labeling obligation is already fulfilled. No further steps on your part are necessary.
