You can find the user manual at https://devil.de/bedienungsanleitung. It is best to use the search field there.
Is there an app for control?
With the devil Go App you can set up, configure, and operate the ROCKSTER NEO. Additionally, you can make sound adjustments with the app. You may need to update your devil Go App.
In some cases, after the update, the NEO may no longer play any signals. How to solve this problem can be found here.
How do I establish a Bluetooth connection?
Pairing connects your audio source/player with the ROCKSTER NEO.
- First, turn on the ROCKSTER NEO.
- Turn on the Bluetooth® function on your player (e.g., smartphone).
- Press and hold the Bluetooth® button (8) on the ROCKSTER NEO for 1.5 seconds.
- A signal tone sounds and the LED in button (8) blinks blue.
- Let your player/smartphone search for new Bluetooth® devices.
- In the list of found devices, "ROCKSTER NEO" should appear after the search.
- Select "ROCKSTER NEO" from the list of found devices. If your player asks for a code, enter "0000" (four zeros).
- A signal tone sounds and the LED in button (8) lights up solid blue.
- Pairing is complete. The Bluetooth® device is connected to the ROCKSTER NEO and you can use the speaker as an output device.
How can I delete the Bluetooth® list?
Press and hold the Bluetooth® button (8) for 8 seconds. A signal tone sounds and the Bluetooth® list is deleted.
How do I pair multiple devices together?
The ROCKSTER NEO can be paired with other devil devices that currently or in the future support the Party-Link function. How this works can be found in the article Pairing ROCKSTER NEO with other devil devices
How do I reset the ROCKSTER NEO to factory settings?
Please note: The speaker will be reset to factory settings. All personal settings will be deleted.
To reset, press and hold the button combination 7 (Power) and 13 (Party-Link) for 8 seconds:
Why does my ROCKSTER NEO simply turn off after a certain time?
After 15 minutes without an input signal, the speaker automatically turns off. The automatic shut-off time (Auto-Off) can be adjusted via the devil Go App.
Can I connect devices like a microphone & guitar?
The ROCKSTER NEO has two analog XLR combo inputs, which you can select as instrument, microphone, or line inputs. So you can connect a microphone and/or an instrument via XLR cable or 6.3 mm jack plug. Details can be found in the user manual on pages 20-22. Here is a compact overview.
What accessories are available for the ROCKSTER NEO?

ROCKSTER NEO Protector: Protective cover for ROCKSTER NEO and Fender x devil ROCKSTER NEO can be found in our webshop. Since the protector is open at the bottom, you can also operate the ROCKSTER NEO with a stand/tripod.
Can I use a stand for the ROCKSTER NEO?
The speaker has an opening on the bottom for mounting on a PA stand with a 35 mm pin.
What does IP44 mean?
IP44 is a protection rating. A product with IP44 is protected against the ingress of solid foreign objects larger than 1mm and against water splashing from all directions.
What is the strap on the back for?
The strap with the T-logo looks cool. Please do not remove the strap.
