PARTY LINK WIRED
Enables the connection of 2 to max. 10 speakers via a cable connection. One speaker is configured as MASTER and the other speakers as COMPANION. Suitable XLR cables for connecting the speakers are available in our webshop.
This is how it works:
- Check the setting on speaker 1. The MASTER LED must light up. If necessary, press the CONFIGURATION button (17) and set as MASTER.
- Connect the XLR cable (43) to the COMPANION OUT socket (30) on loudspeaker 1.
- Press the CONFIGURATION button on speaker 2 to set it as COMPANION.
- Connect the XLR cable (43) to the COMPANION IN socket (29) on speaker 2.
- If necessary, repeat steps 3 and 4 to connect additional speakers.
The setting on the MASTER determines which signal is transmitted to the COMPANION:
MASTER MONO -> COMPANION MONO (all speakers play the same signal)
MASTER LEFT -> COMPANION RIGHT (MASTER plays left channel and COMPANION plays right channel)
MASTER RIGHT -> COMPANION LEFT (MASTER plays right channel and COMPANION plays left channel)
In this mode, you can now also connect other devices (e.g. microphone, instrument, audio source) to the MASTER (speaker 1) via Line In
PARTY LINK STEREO
Enables wireless connection of 2 ROCKSTER AIR 2 speakers in master/companion mode. One speaker is configured as MASTER and the other speaker as COMPANION.
You will need this control panel for this
How it works:
- Check the setting on speaker1. The MASTER LED must light up. If necessary, press the CONFIGURATION button (17) and set as MASTER.
- Press CONFIGURATION button (17) on speaker 2 and set as COMPANION.
- Press the PARTY LINK button (16) on both speakers. A signal tone sounds and the CONFIGURATION button and SET UP button LEDs flash. A signal tone sounds and the PARTY LINK LED lights up. PARTY LINK via Bluetooth® is set up.
- Press the SETUP button (18) on the speakers and select the desired setting (MONO, LEFT, RIGHT).
Note: If Party Link is used, all other sources except Bluetooth are deactivated.
This means that music can be transmitted via Bluetooth, but no aux / mic source can be played separately. If you want to connect two ROCKSTER AIR 2 to each other and also use a microphone/instrument or play back the signal (e.g. music) via the Line In, connect the two ROCKSTER AIR via cable (XLR).
A wireless connection to other speakers, such as the ROCKSTER NEO, is unfortunately not possible. Please use PARTY LINK WIRED.
