How can I adjust the bass?
To adjust the sound profile and bass reproduction of the ROCKSTER CROSS, please use the sound settings options of your playback device (e.g. smartphone).
What does the Outdoor mode mean?
The Outdoor mode is a technology designed to improve the listening experience outdoors in a loud and uncontrolled environment. This is achieved by compensating for certain frequencies. You can turn the Outdoor mode on and off using button (7).
How do I connect the ROCKSTER CROSS via Bluetooth?
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your playback device (e.g., smartphone).
- Press and hold button (6) for about 3 seconds. You will hear a short beep and the ring around the button will blink blue.
- Search for Bluetooth® devices on your playback device/smartphone. More information can be found in your smartphone’s user manual.
- Select "devil ROCKSTER CROSS" from the list of found devices.
How do I delete the Bluetooth list on the ROCKSTER CROSS?
To clear the list of known playback devices, press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 10 seconds
until you hear two short beeps.
How do I connect two ROCKSTER CROSS speakers?
You can pair the ROCKSTER CROSS with another ROCKSTER CROSS via Bluetooth. Both devices will then play the same music.
Please note the following: Devices with A, B, or C in the serial number (see image) can only be paired with devices with A, B, or C in the serial number, not with devices with "D" in the serial number.
Devices with a "D" in the serial number can only be paired with devices with "D" in the serial number.
Fender x ROCKSTER CROSS devices can only be paired with Fender x ROCKSTER CROSS devices.
- Place both devices directly next to each other. (You can later increase the distance between the paired devices up to 5 meters.)
- Press and hold button (5) for about 3 seconds. Pairing starts when the ring around the button pulses white.
- Start pairing on the second ROCKSTER CROSS as well. After a short time, the
two devices will connect. The ring around button (5) on the ROCKSTER CROSS will now light up solid white and a tone will signal the connection.
You can control playback on the first ROCKSTER CROSS.
To turn off Connect mode, press and hold button (5) for about 3 seconds. The ring around the button will go out and the connection will end.
How do I charge the ROCKSTER CROSS?
The built-in lithium-ion battery charges as soon as the ROCKSTER CROSS is powered via the power adapter. Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the POWER socket (17) and connect the power adapter to a power outlet (100-240 V~, 50/60 Hz).
Once all LEDs (8) light up continuously, the battery is fully charged.
