Yes, pairing multiple ROCKSTER devices is possible. The devices have an XLR connector. To establish the connection, an XLR cable (not included) is required.
We offer this cable here.
A connection without a cable is not possible.
Tip: Multiple ROCKSTER devices can also be connected in series; we recommend pairing a maximum of 4 ROCKSTER devices.
These connection options are available to you:
How to establish a connection in MASTER/COMPANION mode:
- Determine which ROCKSTER should operate as the MASTER. On this ROCKSTER, set the INPUT SELECT switch (28) to “CHANNEL 1/2”.
- On the device(s) that should operate as COMPANION, set the INPUT SELECT switch (28) to MASTER IN.
- Connect the ROCKSTER devices with an XLR cable. On the MASTER, plug the cable into MASTER OUT (34).
- On the COMPANION, plug the cable into MASTER IN. If you selected the left channel on the MASTER (recognizable by the L under the connector), then use the MASTER IN with R. This way, the MASTER plays the left channel and the COMPANION plays the right. If the devices are reversed, then use the opposite connectors.
- Use the OPERATING MODE switch (29) to determine the playback of the stereo channels. If the COMPANION should play the right channel, slide the switch on the COMPANION to R and on the MASTER to L.
- In MONO mode, both channels are mixed together. This can be useful if you cannot set up the devices in a stereo triangle or if you want to connect multiple ROCKSTER devices in a row (see diagram above).
- You control the music playback via the MASTER.
- Use the MAIN VOLUME knob (30) on the MASTER to control the main volume for the entire system, including the ROCKSTER devices connected as COMPANION. To increase the volume, turn the knob clockwise. To decrease the volume, turn the knob counterclockwise.
If the COMPANION is too loud, you can reduce the volume relative to the MASTER using the MAIN VOLUME knob (30). However, the maximum volume is determined by the MASTER.
